Frequently asked questions

On this page you will find the answers to some frequently asked questions. If your query isn't answered on this page, please reach out using the form on my contact page.

Q: How does it work?

The process starts with you contacting me with your package choice. I will then contact you to arrange a time and place to meet. Providing the package fee is paid no later than 24 hours before the start of the session, the shoot will take place. Within 48-72 hours after the session, you will receive your photos, plus a link to view an online gallery where you'll be given an opportunity to purchase more.

Q: What areas do you cover?

I cover the London area.

Q: Do I need to buy more photos than you give me?

No, this is optional. You will be given the opportunity to purchase additional photos from an online gallery after the session, which cost £5 each. The number of images available to view depends on the package you book.

Q: How many photos will I receive?

You will receive a specific number of photos hand picked by me, the number of which depends on the package you have chosen. In addition, you will have the opportunity to purchase additional photos from an online gallery after the shoot. See the Services page for full details.

Q: What is your availability like?

I am generally available most evenings in the week and on weekends. With enough notice, I can look to commit to a weekday slot.

Q: What camera equipment do you use?

I use professional standard equipment from Canon, including an R6 Mark II mirrorless camera body. For my lenses, I use a 50mm F1.4 VCM L and a 24-105mm F4 L lens, depending on the lighting conditions.

Q: What photo editing software do you use?

I use Adobe Lightroom and a MacBook Air M4.

Q: Where do you stand when taking your photos?

I stand outside of the court, usually near the court entrance, adjacent to the net. However, I ensure I keep well away from the action and it goes without saying I never enter an active court.

Q: What happens if my match gets cancelled?

If your match is cancelled, you have two options. You can contact me for a full refund. Alternatively, if you wish to re-book your match or event, please let me know and we can proceed on that basis.

Q: Are you willing to cover larger events and tournaments?

Yes, please get in touch for a quote.

Q: Do I need to let my opponents know you will be attending?

Before your game, I ask customers to inform their opponents that I will be attending to take photographs of you.

Q: What payment method do you provide?

I request all payments are made through Instant Bank Transfer. I will provide details of this when you book your session.

Q: When do I pay you?

I require full payment of the package fee upfront and no later than 24 hours before the start of the session. If payment is not received before this time, the session will be cancelled.

Q: How will you share the photos with me?

After the session and within 48-72 hours, I will share a link to an online gallery with you. In addition to the free photos you receive from your package, you can view and choose more photos to buy, although this is optional.

Q: Can you send me the unedited versions of the photos?

Unfortunately, I do not provide these under any circumstances.
